Help Desk Specialist

NovaCopy has an exciting opportunity in our Dallas office. If you are a talented and bright individual with exceptional technical support and customer service skills, then we are looking for you. This position is responsible for providing a high level of support to our customers in order to quickly resolve a wide range of technical requests and issues.

  • Provide technical phone support to NovaCopy customers with printer/copier related issues
  • Provide technical phone support to sales and installation teams
  • Work with customers and coworkers to load utility software at client locations
  • Maintain and update Knowledge Base for customers and internal staff
  • Serve as primary contact for customers for all issues related to our meter-based billing model
  • Provide IT phone support to internal staff for application, connectivity and printing issues
  • Gathering meters by fax and phone when technical situations limit automated methods

Requirements

  • 1+ year experience in a help desk environment
  • Professional and courteous customer service skills
  • Experience with remote access tools
  • Knowledge of printer/copier technology
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Windows 7/8/XP/Vista, Microsoft Office and other common PC programs
  • Basic networking skills including working with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
  • General use of the Internet, including web browser, email, and FTP
  • Basic hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • A+, N+, HDI, ITIL Certification preferred, but not required

Pay rate for this position is $15.00-$17.00 per hour. We offer an excellent benefits package including matching 401k, medical and dental insurance, sick and vacation pay, and a drug-free and smoke-free work environment.
