Help Desk Specialist
NovaCopy has an exciting opportunity in our Dallas office. If you are a talented and bright individual with exceptional technical support and customer service skills, then we are looking for you. This position is responsible for providing a high level of support to our customers in order to quickly resolve a wide range of technical requests and issues.
Provide technical phone support to NovaCopy customers with printer/copier related issues
Provide technical phone support to sales and installation teams
Work with customers and coworkers to load utility software at client locations
Maintain and update Knowledge Base for customers and internal staff
Serve as primary contact for customers for all issues related to our meter-based billing model
Provide IT phone support to internal staff for application, connectivity and printing issues
Gathering meters by fax and phone when technical situations limit automated methods
1+ year experience in a help desk environment
Professional and courteous customer service skills
Experience with remote access tools
Knowledge of printer/copier technology
Proficiency using Microsoft Windows 7/8/XP/Vista, Microsoft Office and other common PC programs
Basic networking skills including working with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
General use of the Internet, including web browser, email, and FTP
Basic hardware and software troubleshooting skills
A+, N+, HDI, ITIL Certification preferred, but not required
Pay rate for this position is $15.00-$17.00 per hour. We offer an excellent benefits package including matching 401k, medical and dental insurance, sick and vacation pay, and a drug-free and smoke-free work environment.
